In recent years the World Bank has sought to reach out to faith-based groups through new programs -- the Development Dialogue on Values and Ethics, and the World Faiths Development Dialogue. An August 17 report in
The Economist notes that the shape of these programs has been under review since the new World Bank president, Paul Wolfowitz, succeeded James Wolfensohn. Some religious groups are concerned that the progress in dialogue may stall or diminish. (Darrell Dorr, alumnus 2005)
