Our students are typically already involved, or are preparing to be involved, in a cross-cultural career, often in the developing world, working actively with an NGO or local church.
WCIU welcomes applications from
international students who are leaders in their communities and who desire to study while continuing with their local NGO or church work. (All studies are in English.)
WCIU also welcomes applications from working adults who are not working cross-culturally but who would like to broaden their perspective on international development, particularly from a cultural, historical and religious standpoint.
Most WCIU students have a background in intercultural studies, anthropology, history or religious studies and many have taken the course,
Perspectives on the World Christian Movement.
Our students are self-directed learners who enjoy reading and learning about other cultures.
