Andrea Vogt

Andrea Vogt is International Director of Operation Mercy. She has served in other roles with Operation Mercy since 1997, including the Program Manager for Disability and Inclusive Education and then Country Director in Uzbekistan. She holds an MSc in International Community Disability Studies as well as a diploma in physical therapy. She has published on the topics of inclusive education in post-Communist systems and community-based rehabilitation, as well as more recently on community development among faith-based groups, in which she co-led a group of Christian community development practitioners exploring the topic. A native German speaker, she also has fluency or high-intermediate ability in English, Uzbek and Tajik.
