William Carey International University (WCIU) seeks an accomplished and highly trusted professional to serve as Executive Assistant to the Provost. This position plays a pivotal role within the Office of Academic Affairs, providing executive-level partnership and operational leadership in support of the university’s academic strategy and institutional priorities.
The Executive Assistant serves as a key collaborator and facilitator within the Provost’s Office, helping to advance strategic initiatives, coordinate high-level academic operations, and maintain continuity across leadership activities. This role requires exceptional professionalism, integrity, discretion, and executive presence, with the ability to operate confidently in complex and confidential environments.
This is an opportunity for a capable and motivated professional to work closely with senior academic leadership and contribute meaningfully to institutional effectiveness and academic excellence.

The MA in Transformational Urban Leadership program is one of the foremost urban programs globally, with cutting-edge courses grappling with the theology and practice of engaging urban issues in today's mega-cities. The Assistant Program Director, MATUL, is responsible for the academic development and delivery of the MATUL program. The ideal candidate should possess the following characteristics: honesty, compassion, and have an entrepreneurial spirit. Knowledge of the theory and practice of adult learning, project-based learning, action-reflection, field-based education in areas of theology, church growth, and urban ministry, as well as demonstrated commitment to improving the social and economic conditions within slum communities are critical skills required for this position.
