Deborah Hancox

Deborah Hancox is the International Coordinator of Micah Global, leading the Secretariat and coordinating network activities. Before taking up this position, she spent 20 years in organizational consulting within the Christian development sector. Prior to entering this sector, Deborah worked for 15 years in various corporate information technology roles and has an interest in using information technology for development sector work. In 2020 she completed a PhD in Theology and Development, researching the missional role of the Christian development organization. Deborah is passionate about the participation of the Body of Christ in God’s mission of wholistic transformation.

Deborah is married to Colin and they live in Cape Town, South Africa. They have four adult children and two grandchildren. Colin and Deborah love to cycle, run, walk in the mountains and share a good, slow cooked meal with friends.
