James Butare

Dr. James Butare-Kiyovu is Professor of Applied Linguistics at William Carey International University. He has served with WCIU for two decades as an instructor for masters and doctoral level courses and as a major advisor and a member of numerous doctoral dissertation committees. He was also a research scholar with Global Research Institute of Fuller Theological Seminary and a lecturer in various institutions in Australia and the U.S. He has authored four books in linguistics and languages and edited several books on international development.
