Jessica Udall

Dr. Jessica Udall is a professor of Intercultural Studies at Evangelical Theological College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and an adjunct professor of Intercultural Studies for Columbia International University's online MA program. She is the Deputy Director for SIL in Ethiopia's Capacity Building Department, which connects SIL personnel with opportunities for further education. Before relocating to Ethiopia, her focus was ministry among refugees, asylum seekers, immigrants, and international students, and she continues to teach, research, and write on global migration, diaspora issues, and cross-cultural partnership. She has authored, co-authored, and co-edited several books, the latest of which is entitled Building Community Through Hospitality: Insights from Ethiopia for America's Loneliness Epidemic, and is devoted to mentoring Christian students for wise and effective intercultural leadership in a globalizing world.
