Lindi van Niekerk, Ph.D., M.Sc., MBChB

Dr. Lindi van Niekerk is a South African medical doctor specializing in primary care, health systems, and social innovation. She holds a Ph.D. in Global Health and an M.Sc. in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as an MBChB from the University of Pretoria. As a consultant since 2016, she has collaborated with universities, NGOs, and multilateral agencies to address health worker resilience and access to care across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. A filmmaker and podcast producer, Dr. van Niekerk amplifies the voices of frontline healthcare workers through storytelling and advocacy.
