Mark Strand, Ph.D., M.S.
Dr. Mark Strand is a professor in the School of Pharmacy and Department of Public Health at North Dakota State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Health and Behavioral Science from the University of Colorado Denver and an M.S. in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of Minnesota. His research focuses on chronic disease epidemiology and opioid misuse prevention, earning national recognition, including the 2024 APhA Honorary Membership Award. Dr. Strand previously worked with China’s Ministry of Health on chronic disease prevention.
