Remembering Kirsten Feldman
At the end of January, the WCIU community lost a dear friend and colleague, Kirsten Feldman. Kirsten passed to her eternal home on Monday January 27, 2025. She had been on medical leave for several months as she bravely and quietly battled cancer in her body. Her great faith in her Lord and Savior impacted all of her collogues at WCIU. We thank God for her life and service both to the WCIU community and to the wider Pasadena community. Outside of WCIU, Kirsten faithfully served at the International House of Prayer in Pasadena for many years, laboring day and night in prayer for our city and the nations of the earth. As a worshipper of Jesus, Kirsten lived to glorify Him in everything. She had the heart of an artist, beautifying the spaces she occupied. She was known to show up with flowers and a smile, brightening up the atmosphere wherever she went. She was also our resident foodie, always ready to supply a list of the best food in the area. She is greatly missed!
We continue to pray for Kirsten's family that they would experience God's sustaining grace during this difficult time of grieving, processing and healing. Our hearts are saddened by this loss and we lean into the hope that our resurrected Lord brings.
Kirsten’s memorial service will be held on Saturday March 1st at 2PM at the Pasadena International House of Prayer for anyone who would like to attend.
