Welcome Daniel Low!

WCIU is excited to Welcome Daniel Low to the University Lead Team as our Vice President of Academic Affairs!

Originally from Singapore, Daniel previously held positions with Raffles Christian School Pondok Indah Campus Jakarta, Concordia University Chicago, Biola University and was a certified teacher in Singapore, where he taught elementary and middle grades and co-led a national project to improve equity and access for non-profit kindergartens. While in Singapore, he also served as a curriculum specialist and trainer of teachers. 

Daniel received his undergraduate degree and teaching credentials from Nanyang Technological University—National Institute of Education in Singapore. He subsequently completed his Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and his Ph.D. in Intercultural Education at Biola University in La Mirada, CA.

He is an avid swimmer and a big fan of Disneyland’s Half Marathons – he tries to carve time for these activities while balancing his duties as a dad to a quiver-full of children (3 girls and 2 boys) and a husband to his wife (Melody) for over 20 years.

What happened to Dr. Peter McLallen you may ask? Not to worry, he is still here and is now formally our Executive Vice President! We have been working hard to expand our Lead Team for both our current academic community and for future expansion, and we are grateful for the caliber of people who are joining us!
