Peter Nitschke

Peter Nitschke, Ed.D., serves as the Director for Impact Partnerships at Plastic Bank, Vancouver. Since June 2021, he has led teams in the Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, and Egypt, focusing on behavior-centered programs that enhance waste segregation and promote circular economy principles. His leadership experience includes spearheading poverty programs across the Philippines, teaching and training leaders for urban transformation in various countries, and directing the Matul program at the Asian Theological Seminary in the Philippines for four years. Peter holds a Doctor of Education in Continuing Adult Education from Asia Graduate School of Theology, Quezon City, Philippines. His academic and professional endeavors concentrate on transformative education and sustainable community practices.
