Stephen Mbogo
Dr. Stephen Mbogo is the International Team Leader/CEO of African Enterprise International. He is also the Lausanne Africa English, Portuguese & Spanish speaking (EPSA) Regional Director. He assumed leadership of African Enterprise as the third Global CEO/ International Team Leader in 2013. He has a passion for godly, Biblical leadership and a heart to see Africa transformed through biblical principles and the sound governance of its leaders.
From 2017, Stephen has served in the role of Regional Director for Lausanne (EPSA). He is also the chairman of several initiatives including Mission Africa, follow-up to the 2010 Cape Town, Lausanne Congress Commitments; Movement Day Africa, an Urban Missions network that seeks to influence cities by networking Church, Business and Politics. Additionally, Stephen chairs Kenya Mission Association (KEMA), an interdenominational association whose vision is to see Churches and Mission Movements in Kenya united and collaborate to reach the least reached people groups.
He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Daystar University, Kenya, 1992, Master's degree in Christian Ministries from International Leadership University (ILU), Kenya, 1999; and a PhD in Intercultural studies with a focus on political leadership from Biola University in California (2013).
Stephen lives in Nairobi with his wife Prof. Rosemary Mbogo and their two children, Victor & Joy and as well as with a number of young people who live with them in their home for mentorship. They are both passionate on raising vulnerable and orphaned children, a ministry they fulfil through By Grace Trust and have partnered with Partners for Patients (PFP).
