Peter Nitschke

Peter Nitschke, Ed.D., is the Director for Impact Partnerships at Plastic Bank, Vancouver. Leading teams since June 2021 in the Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, and Egypt, he focuses on behavior-centered programs for waste segregation and circular economy principles. With extensive leadership experience in poverty programs, he directed the Matul program at the Asian Theological Seminary and holds a Doctor of Education in Continuing Adult Education from Asia Graduate School of Theology, Quezon City, Philippines. Passionate about transformative education and sustainable community practices, Peter's expertise drives positive change.
Viv Grigg
Program Director
Dr. Viv Grigg has pioneered churches, development and advocacy agencies among the urban poor since the 1970’s in Manila, Calcutta, São Paulo, and Los Angeles. He is the author of 7 books on urban issues, numerous published articles, and is a pioneer of global urban networks. In addition to teaching, he leads the Encarnação Alliance, a global network of urban poor movement leaders.
Alvin Mbola

Community economics educator and practitioner Alvin Mbola pursues holistic transformation of vulnerable communities through sustainable livelihoods development. An expert in Inclusive Microfinance and Livelihoods Development, Mr. Mbola has over 12 years’ experience working with churches in the East African region and has consulted on development projects around the globe.

Rosemary Mbogo
Affiliate Faculty
Prof. Rosemary Mbogo is the Director of the Institute for the Study of African Realities, the research and consultancy institute of the African International University in Nairobi. She is also the Director of the ByGrace Trust, a ministry that cares for the orphaned and vulnerable children and youth predominantly from Kenya. As a Christian educator she seeks to transform poor communities through cultivating trainers with action-reflection skills. She is a member of Africa Society of Evangelical Theology. She received her Ph.D in Educational Leadership and Administration from Biola University.
